This is our jackshaft setup on our shop mower. This uses a standard hub. #35 chain and sprocket on a cut 1-1/4’’ axle. Solid clean and cheap. We had custom bearing hangars made but we used standard rear axle bearing hangars for years before this.

Here you can see the rear axle, chain and tension. Fuel tank setup and battery. We put the battery in this location to increase the left rear weight. This allows us to run cross weight.

This is how we mount the front axle and rear axle. This is our hyper flex chassis.

Here is a great view of our jackshaft and sprocket setup. #35 chain from the engine to the jackshaft. Then we run a #40 chain from the jackshaft to the rear axle

Here is an excellent view of the front axle, steering components (this chassis has a prototype electric power steering unit), front brake setup (this is an in house design but mcp brakes are of higher quality than the ones pictured).

A great view of our steering design.

Front and rear axle mount and design. 45’’ center to center.

This is what the final result looks like of the above chassis photos
